Connecting Stewart and allied families in Middle Tennessee
Our goal is to expand our knowledge of Stewart family history. Our focus is the R1b Group Type 1c: Scots Modal branch of Stewarts (as designated in the Stewart DNA project in Family Tree DNA). This site is under construction. Please check back frequently for updates.
What We Do
We are a Stewart branch that began in New York in the late 1600s and moved to New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and finally into Middle Tennessee in the late 1700s.
From Tennessee, our ancestors moved on to Texas, Missouri, Utah, and beyond.
By making connections with other Stewarts of this branch, we are determined to enlarge our understanding of our family and where we came from.
